That One Thing
I wrote this while leading on a camp last week for young leaders and this was an epic chance for God to speak into the harts and lives of kids between 15 and 18. this poem came out of one of the morning quiet times.
The desirer of my hart Oh Lord that only you and I can see. The one thing I keep looked away so tightly that I forget its there. that one thing I say maybe one day. that one thing that keeps me up at night. that one thing I don't want to speak out loud. for when I do it can no longer be looked away so tightly or so deeply that I forget its there it will never be hidden again. Lord give me the strangith to shout that one thing I keep locked away so tightly and deeply that only you and i can see it. give me the courage to say that one thing aloud that only you and I can see Father. Alow me to see why you have placed that one thing on my hart.
sometimes the desiers of our hart are treated like things that we should hide but the truth is thease are a grater part of who we are and how we life our lives.
